Patio Repair Services in Maidstone
Over time, most patios experience deterioration—slabs that have sunk, pointing that has loosened, or individual damaged sections. Frequently, these issues can be repaired without the need to replace the entire patio surface, which saves significant costs while prolonging the life of your patio.
Our patio repair experts in Maidstone are available to provide you with a complimentary estimate for your patio repairs. Whether you need straightforward repairs such as cleaning and regrouting, or more complex work like lifting sunken areas, addressing drainage problems, and beyond.
What Type Of Patios We Repair In Maidstone
Ground subsidence leads to slabs sinking or becoming unlevel, which creates tripping hazards and diminishes visual appeal. We lift the affected sections, properly re-establish the foundation layers, and reinstall the slabs to achieve correct levels and gradients.
Individual slabs can crack or break when heavy objects are dropped, frost causes damage, or ground settlement places stress on specific pieces. We replace damaged slabs individually, though achieving a perfect match with existing stone isn’t always feasible, particularly with natural materials that differ from batch to batch.
Deteriorated pointing permits water infiltration and weed growth. We remove degraded mortar and apply new pointing correctly, sealing the joints against weather conditions while retaining sufficient flexibility to avoid future cracking.
Occasionally, patios have been laid incorrectly from the outset. Improper gradients, insufficient base preparation, or unsuitable materials for the site mean that repairs only provide temporary solutions. We provide honest advice about whether a straightforward repair or a complete lift and relay of the patio makes better long-term economic sense.
We also undertake smaller tasks such as relevelling sunken sections adjacent to buildings, enhancing drainage, or replacing damaged edging that has permitted the patio to spread gradually. Addressing these issues promptly prevents more substantial problems from developing.
In addition to our patio repairs, we provide other services including new patio installations in Maidstone, limestone patio installations and more.

We had our driveway extended, new garden steps and path installed by Joseph and his team and they did a fantastic job. They all worked so hard and it looks amazing. Highly recommend!
Thoroughly impressed with Joe and his team who recently completed my driveway in Ashford, arrived on time, completed the job promptly & amazing finish.
Outstanding service, highly recommend!
I had been looking to get our drive done for some time and was lucky enough to find JD drive style. Joseph and his team were incredibly efficient, well priced and did a fantastic job on our drive. Would highly recommend
Joe and his team block paved a parking area at the front of my house this morning. I absolutely cannot praise them enough. A very reasonable price for a fantastic job. From lawn to paved in about 5 hours! No skips required and all materials collected as they needed them. They were so amazing my husband is getting them to come back again and give our back garden a complete makeover. You honestly couldn't wish for a nicer more hardworking team. Thank you Joe. See you again soon.
I had the lower part of my potholed driveway resurfaced to a SMA tarmac finish. It was originally covered in gravel, like the top part, but the slope at the lower end is so pronounced that gravel kept rolling down onto the road and vehicles (particularly heavy trucks) had difficulty getting up the steep slope without spinning their wheels and digging more holes. Joseph advised on the best solution, and he and his team carried out the work incredibly quickly and efficiently this morning before the rain came. I was happy with both the price and the work.
Joseph and his team did a fantastic job on our patio, their quote was reasonable and they were able to get the job done very quickly, Joseph runs his team like a military operation! As well as helping me secure the best price on the materials (which we sourced) they were so efficient and clean on site, with attention to detail as well. We would highly recommend JD Drivestyle and will be using them again very soon for other projects!
Joseph and his team have done a great job - they put down a nice concrete patio in my garden for my garden shed. They were efficient, professional & courteous. Job well done !
Joseph was very quick to answer our initial query and came and quoted the same day (never heard from the other firm I called for a quote). They were always easy to get hold of for any queries we had before the work started, and they widened our driveway and tarmacked it in the same day. All the workers were constantly busy, and were courteous and polite. The work was exceptional and they cleared any debris up before they left. A job well done 😊
We asked Joseph to quote for resin paths around our house and he responded rapidly with a competitive price. In just a day his skilled team prepared the surfaces, laid brick edging and applied the resin, matching our existing drive perfectly. When an incompetent supplier failed to deliver the bricks on time, creating a potential crisis, Joseph went miles out of his way to collect the necessary materials so that the work kept to schedule, remaining calm and professional throughout. Great work!
Joseph and his team really efficient, professional, and conscientious. They repaired a number of broken or subsided parts along the entire length on our long drive. One part does need further attention but Joseph will be over to sort this in the next couple of weeks. Highly recommend
